We’re happy to announce one of the most important milestones for Aleph Zero: the initial testnet implementation is live! Introduction of Level 1 is crucial to the team for two specific reasons. We aim to:
1) Strenghten the link with our community and build a culture of sharing every important update.
2) Battle-test the code and make sure that the testnet will become as stable as possible.
We’ve decided to call the testnet tokens $TZERO.

We hope all of you had fun following the Euro2020 games and predicting. We're sure Italian fans had a good one! Both our social predictions event and contest are now over, and we will soon close the platform to work on it.

The predictions volume contest rewards will be distributed automatically within a week. If you were selected as Twitter Giveaway winner, please send us your adress on twitter, the rewards will be distributed at the same time.
So what's next ? This was a good test for our social prediction pools, and we will now work on the platform to improve it for the next social predictions event. In the meantime, as explained in the latest technical report, we've transitioned our crypto pools on a new architecture. That means we'll need to have another prediction event soon ... stay tuned!
